Sure, it’s spring training, teams are trying to figure out their 25 man rosters, etc., but nothing else major has happened.

Look, some ballplayer’s kid should not be in the dugout 120 games per year. And if there was a handshake deal and the Sox reneged on it, oh well. When you sign a $26M contract and end up with a WAR below zero your first year with the team, be prepared to lose some pampering. If this was football, we wouldn’t even be having this conversation since he would have been cut the first day possible after last season.
