Only someone like Dusty Ventura would decide to give the bulk of the starts to the declining veteran. And rather than fire Ventura for the stupidity, Hahn just goes ahead and accelerates Tim Anderson’s service clock.

Williams/Hahn built themselves a nice little roster capable of winning the division – if the year was 2012.
