Done craftily, it was in the vein of win-now but with limited resources. It was doomed to fail and often “smoke in mirrors”. I was never buying it. Sure, maybe they could have gotten lucky and it all comes together over the course of the last 5 years under a reborn Laroche, breakout season from Avi, or a “finally figured it out” Beckham. Truth is, there were warts and holes all over this team and there weren’t enough band-aids and gauze to stop the hemorrhaging. Words can’t describe how excited I am for the rebuild. Personally, I’d like more position player prospects as we stink at player development but I don’t care… as Seth Rollins would say “Rebuild, Redesign, Reclaim”. Tear this B to the ground.

You could yell “Hey Mags!” and he’d have no trouble picking out exactly who it was that said it and wave back. Now we’ll be able to yell “IN!!!” to Avi and see if he listens.

Thankfully, that rebuild wasn’t as long as the list of executives.
