I’d worry about how he would react to a postseason workload. He was handled with extreme care here because they were playing for nothing.

Also, as great as Sale is, man was it frustrating to see him pitch against the AL Central. They definitely had a book on him.

If RS were the buyer, then we absolutely had to get Benintendi or Devers included with Moncada. We basically got the Shelby Miller deal for Chris Sale, which is disheartening.

The way they have tried hasn’t worked, whether they were right or wrong, the results haven’t been there.

They can’t stop with Sale and Eaton. Find buyers for Quintana, Robertson, Cabrera, Frazier, Abreu and Nate Jones if you can. Tear it all down. It is as good a time to be a seller as any.
