Volstad would be worth a look, provided Quintana gets moved. I can’t see the logic in holding onto Quintana when they’ve come this far. I think it will come down to who will pull the trigger first. Astros? Yankees? Mystery team?

The Nationals signed Turner to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training last week. Volstad elected free agency on November 16, 2016 and is as yet unsigned by any MLB organization.

Would be a great idea. I’d imagine he’ll get a look along with Chris Volstad and Jacob Turner.

I love this. I will probably go to more games this year, knowing full well they’re bad and are likely to lose 100+ games. This process should have started years ago. Better late than never.

If the Pale Hose do deal Q prior to the start of spring training I would expect the White Sox to take a serious look at Rule 5 selection Dylan Covey for their #5 SP.

As someone smarter than me pointed out, what better way to ensure you get on a contending team in 2017 than signing with the 2017 White Sox.
