Sox need legit hitting prospects. It’s either Meadows + 2 or Bell+ Glasnow + 2. I think the Sox would prefer Meadows if for no other reason that they wouldn’t even have to put him on the 40 man right away. Bell is probably a more polished hitter and can switch hit which makes him a little more valuable to the 2017 Pirates than Meadows.

In order to squeeze Quintana into the payroll, Pittsburgh is probably going to want Harrison sent back in which case the prospect price goes up. There’s a deal to be made there if both sides expand the deal a little bit.

If he’s included in a deal for Quintana, he’s probably on the big league roster for the White Sox.
