Maybe they can help facillitate a Stanton trade by taking on money for a prospect. It would a shame to waste such a low payroll number while they are rebuilding.

No. Miami is going nowhere with them because they have sub-par pitching – the Sox would just be in the same position. Rushing things is the wrong thing to do.

If the Marlins are going to give away Stanton by including Yelich would you do it? Stanton has an opt out after 2020.

Hahn is bringing in so many players the minor leagues can’t hold them all. There are going to be a lot of Kenny Williams’ top draft picks cut loose real soon.

Davidson will spend sometime at 3b but will probably continue to DH. Plenty of at bats to go around a really bad team. I really hope Goldberg is just here for a minute and Lopez is called up before Pelfreys next start.

Isn’t Davidson going to be the every day 3rd baseman the rest of the season? I sure hope so.
