I see Lopez eventually as a set up guy but it's a good idea to see if he can stick as a starter. I'd like to see the Sox be in position to draft Brady Singer next year. Lots of potential in this staff set up

Giolito's start reminded me of Jon Garland. As the article says, that is valuable.

Fulmer looks like he has no business playing pro ball. He's throwing what is called, but he has no command and doesn't really look capable of setting up a hitter.

Lopez and Giolito should get 30-35 MLB starts before making decisions about their futures. Fulmer can be written off as a starter just because he LOOKS like he needs to be pitching more often to get his mechanics and especially his mind adjusted. Fulmer needs to think about getting batters out every day, not every five days. And more importantly he should be moved to the pen because Kopech is going to be in the rotation. Rodon-Lopez-Giolito-Kopech looks like the 2019 rotation (maybe late 2018) and if Fulmer isn't pitching better than every one of Adams-Guerrero-Hansen-Dunning-Flores then he doesn't even have a shot at the #5 spot for more than one season. Plus the organization is fully capable of signing a stud free agent starter any time their competitive window opens. Better to move Fulmer to the pen now to see if they can salvage any value.
