I am not convinced the Sox can develop hitting talent. Other than Severson Sox have not brought in much in the terms of "new" staff for the minor league system. From my vantage point it seems they have done what always do with a Reinsdorf organization, when a instructor or coach falls flat, they are moved to another position within the organization. That's is the Reinsdorf way. If I am wrong I apologize.

I for one was happy to see them rebuild. But when they hire the likes of Chris Getz and Aaron Rowand for their minor league system, this give the perception that nothing will change feom a development stand point. They hire too many first time coaches / instructors with no experience whst so ever in the coaching ranks. They are put into important positions. The result is no positional talent is developed.

Again, if I'm wrong, then I'll be happy to admit it. But, I have not seen it.
